We had a real treat monday when our new neighbor Val brought in the Ives he’s had since his father bought it for him in 1954 (yep, that’s 57 years). This bike has its original Campagnolo Gran Sport grouppo, and is arguably the coolest bike we’ll see this year. Enjoy the photos below, and Val, thanks for sharing this with us.

Hello folks! Long time no talk, sorry about that. ‘But Lee, we thought you said Bike of the week would be a regular thing, and we were looking forward to tasty new bikes featured every week!’ Yeah, for that I apologize, but turns out there wasn’t a boat load of new bikes coming in every week during the end of the summer, and you guys have been coming into the shop and keeping us busy with actual work, what’s up with that?
Rest assured, BotW will return in some form for those of you who enjoy it, along with many other things as we slowly have less and less on our plates come winter. There are even a few new shiny things coming next week, so stay tuned.
In the meantime though, mark your calendars, smartphones, or just old fashioned memories for our annual change to Winter Hours, starting next week the 8th of November. We will be open from 10-6 Mon-Fri, and 10-5 Sat.
Last but not least, I share with you the key to our success as the premier bicycle shop in the state, our knowledge and use of the proper terminology of all things bike related:
